Each year students from NISC participate in Cambodia Studies Trips. CST’s offer our students the opportunity to travel to parts of Cambodia they may not otherwise experience, or to experience a familiar area in a different way. CST’s give students a chance to see a different side of Cambodia, its people, cultures, and province. On 18 – 20 November, NISC students from grades 5 – 12 spread out across Cambodia for the 2009 CST. Students traveled to destinations including Siem Reap, Kampong Som, Kep, Rovieng, Rattanakiri, and Kampong Cham. Each grade level had its own unique adventures. Students participated in a variety of activities, ranging from a ropes course to snorkeling. Many of the groups completed community service projects in the areas they visited and students on each trip were encouraged to reflect on their experiences. Click any photo to enlarge it!
