LPN Supervisor

Loretto is seeking 2 LPN Supervisors for Nottingham Enriched Living. These are per-diem positions, requiring flexible availability. The LPN Supervisor provides leadership to the Home Health Aides (HHA) on their assigned shift. The LPN Supervisor also assures that residents are provided therapeutic and rehabilitative measures to maximize their independence.

DUTIES:

- Upon new admission, or re-admission, meet with residents and set up personal care schedules and needs
- Monitor and manage direct care aide staff
- Assure effective communications between direct care staff and resident families
- Assure that all required medications are ordered in a timely manner
- Assist with family meetings

REQUIRES:

- Current NYS LPN license
- At least 2 years of recent experience caring for the acute care or long-term frail elderly
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience, overseeing aide and nursing staff
- Familiarity with medical transcriptions
